Dean & Debbie Young, owners of Classic Catering, have
been catering professionally for many years. By combining
a creative flair for food and presentation with an emphasis
for impeccable service, Dean & Debbie have succeeded
in building a catering service perfect for any occasion,
from elaborate banquets to barbeques and everything in between.
Executive Chef/Owner
Dean Young has been in the food industry
for over 30 years. His catering career began when he had
the opportunity to develop the catering service at the Carmel
Valley Racquet Club. He was the former Catering Chef for
Kathleen’s Catering in Carmel and has worked in many
acclaimed restaurants on the Monterey Peninsula. These experiences
have enhanced both his culinary talents and his ability
to orchestrate large events with ease. And let's not forget
one very important ingredient to Dean’s success –
and the success of your party – He has a true
passion for cuisine and works with the same degree of enthusiasm
whether the event is high-style or a casual barbecue to
ensure the success of every event!
Event Management Director/Owner
Debbie Young’s restaurant management
experience along with her degree in communications has helped
her develop a business expertise in the hospitality field
as well as cultivated her flair for coordinating and event
planning. With Debbie and Dean’s combined talents
and enthusiasm for the food and hospitality industry, they
realized shortly after getting married that it made perfect
sense for them to form a business partnership as well; one
that would allow them to “work” at their passion.
Thus, Classic Catering was born and they
have been creating memorable occasions filled with delicious
food and mixed perfectly with exceptional service ever since.

team members! From our truly outstanding service staff, bartenders and kitchen staff to our very talented and caring Event Managers, our employees include many
of the most respected professionals in the area. Our service
and culinary teams are all about creating delicious memories
with excellent service for all of our clients. We are all
committed to making sure that every guest comes away from
the events we cater feeling very well taken care of. We
consider ourselves very fortunate to have these hard working
